
<p class="has-drop-cap">A pet cat has tested positive for the <a href="https://occupygh.com/category/coronavirus">coronavirus</a> in Hong Kong after its owner was confirmed with having the virus.</p>



<p>The city&#8217;s Agricultural and Fisheries Department of Hong Kong said, cautioning that the animal has not shown any signs of the disease.</p>



<p>The cat was sent to quarantine after testing positive to the virus.</p>

<p>The Veterinary Association said the most likely way pets would be exposed to the virus is from their owners or other people they come into contact with, and the cases were no cause for alarm. </p>



<p class="has-text-color has-very-dark-gray-color">This is the second time a cat has tested positive for Coronavirus<a href="https://occupygh.com/video-civilian-slaps-soldier-for-punishing-him-amidst-coronavirus-lockdown">.</a> A case was also reported in Belgium where an owner infected the pet cat with the novel Coronavirus.</p>
