As the NPP Presidential primaries heat up, Ghana’s second lady, Samira Bawumia, has dragged Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, through the dirt.
Samira Bawumia addressed Kennedy Agyapong and certain remarks he had made on the NPP while speaking at a campaign event.
She asserted that the contentious MP had stated he didn’t mind the NPP going into opposition if he didn’t win the flagbearership.
Kennedy Agyapong, according to Samira Bawumia, doesn’t mind the NPP standing in opposition because he and his entire family, which extends to the 99th generation, are already wealthy.
He therefore doesn’t give a damn about the party’s grassroots members who would suffer if they were to turn against them.
That, according to Mrs. Bawumia, makes it obvious that her husband, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, should be selected as the party’s future leader as he will guide them into the promised land of “breaking the 8.”
