Contrary to earlier reports suggesting that Angel TV presenter Kofi Adomah had been shot, new details have emerged revealing that his injuries were sustained during a traditional musketry firing ceremony at a funeral in Dormaa, Bono Region.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when Kofi Adomah attempted to reposition himself near a chief’s musket.
Unfortunately, gunpowder from the musket accidentally struck his face, causing severe injury to one of his eyes.
Reports indicate that Kofi Adomah has lost sight in one eye, while the other has been left with blurry vision.

After receiving initial treatment in Ghana, he was flown to Dubai for specialized care in an attempt to restore vision in the affected eye.
A source close to the journalist disclosed that Kofi Adomah is currently undergoing treatment in Dubai, saying, “He’s now in Dubai seeking to restore the one eye that is blurry. But it looks like the other one cannot see again.”
The revelation has sparked concern and well-wishes from fans and colleagues, with many expressing hopes for a successful recovery.
