Lil Durk Indicted on Charges in Murder-for-Hire Plot Tied to Quando Rondo Feud. Rapper Lil Durk, legally known as Durk Devontay Banks, has been indicted on charges relating to an alleged murder-for-hire plot, according to federal court records.
The charges include conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire, use of interstate facilities to facilitate the plot, and discharging a machine gun, all stemming from a 2022 incident reportedly targeting fellow rapper Quando Rondo.
The plot tragically resulted in the death of Rondo’s cousin, Saviay’a Robinson, also known as Lul Pab, which prosecutors allege was a retaliation for the 2020 murder of King Von, a close friend of Lil Durk’s and member of his music collective, Only The Family (OTF).
Authorities arrested Lil Durk in Florida as he reportedly attempted to flee to an international destination.
Currently in federal custody, his legal team is preparing to contest the charges as he awaits his arraignment in Los Angeles.
The indictment has sparked wide discussions within the hip-hop community, highlighting the ongoing challenges surrounding fame, violence, and street alliances.
Many are watching closely as the case unfolds, adding to the broader dialogue on safety and accountability in the music industry.
