A New Era for Ghanaian Women
In a historic moment, Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has been sworn in as Ghana’s first female vice president. Her elevation marks a turning point for women in leadership, breaking barriers in a traditionally male-dominated political arena. Opoku-Agyemang’s swearing-in makes Ghana one of the few African nations to have a female vice president.
Rev. Stephen Wengam, a respected clergy leader, expressed confidence in Mahama’s leadership, emphasizing the need for divine guidance. “We are confident that the good Lord will guide him. He has experience; he has been here before. Our prayers are with him,” he said.
