Veteran actress and TV personality, Grace Omaboe, affectionately known as Maame Dokono, has announced the launch of her highly anticipated memoir on August 7, 2024.
The announcement was made during a celebration of her 80th birthday and 60 years in the Ghanaian movie industry at the Silverbird Cinemas in Accra.
In a sneak peek shared on social media, Omaboe revealed that the book will delve into various aspects of her life, including her experiences as a mother of six, all delivered via C-section, her encounters with former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, and her illustrious career in the movie industry.
With a career spanning over six decades, Omaboe has established herself as a prominent figure in Ghanaian entertainment, known for her iconic roles in films like Kwaku Ananse and Children of the Mountain.
Her memoir promises to offer a unique glimpse into her life, both on and off the screen.
