The National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) National Organiser, Joseph Yammin, has made another shocking discovery, uncovering an uncompleted building in Danyame, a suburb of the Ashanti Region, housing several bags of fertilizers meant for farmers.
This latest find comes on the heels of Yammin’s previous discovery of fertilizers in an uncompleted house in Sokoban, a suburb of Kumasi.
The repeated discoveries have raised concerns about the widespread theft of state assets, particularly in the aftermath of the 2024 Elections, which saw John Mahama declared President.
In a video documenting the latest discovery, Yammin and his team, with the help of volunteers, were seen packing the government fertilizers onto an articulator truck to be moved to a secure location with tight security.
The fertilizers are destined for the Buffer Stock warehouse, where they will be kept safe until the new government decides what to do with them.
A member of Yammin’s team expressed outrage over the theft of state assets, stating that it was disheartening to see politicians stealing from citizens.
