Mahama’s Inauguration: IGP Dampare Shows Leadership Skills As He Steps Down From His Car To Direct Traffic En Route to Mahama’s Inauguration

, Inspector General of Police (IGP) George Akufo Dampare has shown great leadership skills after stepping out of his car to direct vehicular traffic while on his way to the Black Star Square for the inauguration of President-elect John Dramani Mahama.

Photos posted by Daily Graphic on Facebook showcased the IGP in action, doing what he does best.

The roads leading to the Black Star Square had been closed due to the inauguration ceremony, causing traffic congestion. However, IGP Dampare’s quick thinking and willingness to take charge ensured a smooth flow of traffic.

Today marks a significant milestone in Ghana’s history as John Dramani Mahama is sworn in as the country’s president.

He will be Ghana’s 6th president under the Fourth Republic and is returning for his second term after losing the 2016 elections.
