
<p style="font-size:25px">A <a href="https://occupygh.com/tag/nigeria">Nigerian man</a>, Timothy Shikaan, has been arrested for repeatedly assaulting his wife and leaving her with bruised marks and a bleeding eye in Delta state.</p>



<p>The 34-year-old man, who is from Benue State but resides at Temple Clinic, Asaba, Delta State, is accused of constantly beating up his wife, Mrs Shikaan, in their home.</p>

<p>Concerned neighbors intervened and reported him to the human rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, who is the DG of Behind Bars Human Rights Foundation.</p>



<p>Following the tipoff, he paid a visit to the husband and found the woman with bruises on her back and arms and she was bleeding from her eyes.</p>

<p>A video making rounds on social media show the moment the man was accosted and escorted out of his compound. He has reportedly been handed over to A Divisional Police Station, Asaba, and is currently in detention.</p>
