In a horrifying incident that sent shockwaves through the community, a man was arrested for inflicting gruesome machete wounds on his wife in Akyem Pankese, located in the Eastern Region.
A video report of the sad incident has since surfaced online as netizens react to it.
According to the details, a 50-year-old man brutally attacked his wife, leaving the victim with severe injuries as she is being attended at the local hospital.
Further details revealed that the woman is a teacher in a primary school in the locality.
It has been gathered that the couple has been fighting every day amidst domestic violence – it is believed the latest attack is due to the same domestic violence.
It was after the man demanded that the wife gives him the money she got from funeral proceedings.
