Young Man Reportedly Celebrates Birthday at Cemetery

A young man prominently known as a businessman, Ali Suraj, has reportedly celebrated his birthday cleaning a cemetery at Old Tafo in the Ashanti Region.

Although Birthday’s are supposed to be celebrated in a very pleasant atmosphere, a businessman, Ali Suraj decided to celebrate his latest birthday by cleaning a cemetery in the Ashanti Region.

His decision to keep the cemetery clean will be a very difficult task for every one to do, but the Business man pulled a surprise with this one.

According to a report by Accra-based Class FM, he spent the day together with his friends clearing weeds and rubbish at the cemetery.

The report say, on Sunday, May 26, 2019, instead of organising a party, he went to the Tafo cemetery in the Old Tafo Municipality to clean the place.

He explained that, he did this because the cemetery will be his final home one day when he leaves the world and, therefore found it appropriate to use the day to clean the place.

He said, “I decided purposely to come here [Tafo cemetery] to mark my 40th birthday,”

He added, “The reason behind it is a desire to clean the environment, because our fathers and our mothers are here, and the place is dirty, that’s why I decided to use my birthday to clean the environment.”

The Tafo cemetery, located in the Old Tafo municipality, is the biggest cemetery in Kumasi, but has been left bushy in recent years.
