
<p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>In a shocking turn of events, a woman has recounted how she ensured the deportation of her estranged husband from the United States after he abandoned her and their three children.</strong></p>



<p> The story, which has sparked mixed reactions on social media, highlights her struggle to provide for her family while navigating her husband’s betrayal.</p>



<p>The woman, whose identity remains undisclosed, revealed that her husband left Ghana to study in the United States for two years, leaving her behind with their three children. </p>



<p>Initially, she was supportive of his decision, fully aware that his focus would be on his studies and not on providing financial support. She took on the sole responsibility of raising their children, hoping things would improve once he completed his studies and began working.</p>

<p>After two years, her husband chose to remain in the U.S. to work. At first, he sent money sporadically, but soon, his contributions dwindled to negligible amounts.</p>



<p> Attempts to reach him for support were met with excuses, and eventually, he stopped communicating altogether.</p>



<p>Concerned about his behavior, the woman decided to visit his family in his hometown, hoping to find answers. </p>



<p>To her surprise, she discovered that a house was being constructed in his family compound. She suspected he was secretly funding the project while neglecting his responsibilities to her and their children. </p>



<p>When she confronted his family, she received no satisfactory response.</p>



<p>Upon returning home, she sent him a detailed message about their situation, pleading for support. His response was devastating. </p>



<p>He informed her that he had moved on, encouraged her to remarry, and suggested that if she was overwhelmed, she could send their children to live with his mother.</p>



<p>Feeling betrayed and desperate, the woman decided to take action. She gathered all the evidence of their marriage, including their wedding photos, marriage certificate, and the children’s birth certificates, and approached the U.S. Embassy in Ghana. </p>



<p>She reported that her husband had abandoned his family and revealed that he had falsely declared himself single with no children during his visa application. It was also discovered that he had overstayed his visa and was living in the U.S. without proper documentation.</p>



<p>The embassy acted swiftly, and her husband was deported back to Ghana. Upon his return, the woman’s family refunded the bride price to his family, formally ending the marriage.</p>



<p>Despite her decisive action, her in-laws labeled her a “witch” and an “evil woman,” claiming their son has been struggling to adjust since his deportation. She, however, remains unbothered by their criticism, focusing instead on raising her children with the support of her brothers.</p>



<p>“By God’s grace, we are soaring,” she said in her statement.</p>



<p>Her story has sparked debate, with some commending her for standing up for herself and her children, while others criticized her for her drastic measures. Nonetheless, it highlights the struggles many women face when left to fend for their families without support and the lengths they may go to protect their children’s future.</p>
