'May His Soul Rest In Peace': Akufo-Addo Honors A Minute Silence To Rawlings During SONA 2021

The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo has honored a minute silence to former President Jerry John Rawlings during his State Of the Nation Address today, 5th January 2021.

Nana Addo was quick to honor the minute silence as he kick-starts his State Of the Nation Address today, 5th January 2021.

The President’s address is happening just two days ahead of the expiration of his first term mandate and, he is expected to make an account of his term as president to the legislature in his address.

This will be President Nana Addo’s last State Of the Nation Address for his first term in office.

Former President Jerry John Rawling passed away last year on 12th November 2020, after falling ill to an ailment.
