
<p><strong>Ghanaian rapper Medikal has pleaded with the organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) not to repeat the same mistake they made in 2017, which he believes unfairly affected his career.</strong></p>



<p>In a recent interview, the rapper expressed his concerns about the upcoming award ceremony, which is set to take place in a few weeks. He stated that he was worried that the VGMA might overlook him again, as they did in 2017, when he was nominated for several awards but failed to win any.</p>



<p>Medikal believes that the VGMA&#8217;s decision not to award him back then was a significant setback for his career. </p>

<p>The rapper emphasized that he is not asking for any favors or special treatment. He only wants the VGMA to be fair and transparent in their decision-making process. He stated that he has put in a lot of effort into his music, and he believes that he deserves to be recognized for his hard work.</p>



<p>Medikal has been one of Ghana&#8217;s most prominent rappers over the past few years, with several hit songs and collaborations to his credit. He has won several awards and nominations for his work, including a nomination for the prestigious BET Awards in 2020.</p>
