The Ministry of Health has announced a massive recruitment drive to enlist 15,200 nurses and midwives, following the issuance of Financial Clearance by the Ministry of Finance.
The recruitment process begins on Monday, August 5, 2024, at 12:00 noon, and qualified applicants are required to submit their applications through the Ministry’s online portal at (link unavailable) by Friday, August 23, 2024, at 6:00 pm.
The Ministry emphasizes the transparency of the recruitment process and warns applicants against making any payments for assistance, stating that any payments made will be at the individual’s own risk.
This recruitment drive aims to bolster the healthcare workforce and improve service delivery across the nation. The Ministry seeks the cooperation of all stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
In a related development, Presidential Advisor on Health, Dr. Nsiah Asare, has revealed that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government has completed over 40 hospitals, including ten inherited from President Kufuor’s administration.
The government is also investing in specialized training for medical staff and infrastructure development, including the Agenda 111 health projects, to enhance healthcare delivery at regional and district hospitals.
