Minority in Parliament Postpones Protest Against Bank of Ghana Governor (DETAILS0

The Minority in Parliament has chosen to delay its scheduled protest against Dr. Ernest Addison, the Governor of the Bank of Ghana.

Originally set for Tuesday, September 5, the decision to postpone comes in light of a court hearing regarding a police application to halt the demonstration due to security apprehensions.

The court has adjourned the ruling on a preliminary objection raised by the MPs’ legal team to Friday, September 8. Despite this temporary setback, Minority Leader Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has affirmed their unwavering commitment to the protest, assuring supporters that it will proceed as planned once the court delivers its verdict.
