A tragic and mysterious incident has marred what should have been a joyful occasion in Nigeria, as a mother reportedly became a victim of poisoning during her daughter’s traditional wedding on November 14.

She claimed that her mother experienced severe leg swelling shortly after attending the ceremony. The shocking development came after the family had reportedly received a warning at church that the woman might be poisoned at the wedding.
Initially, the family believed the warning referred to food poisoning and took precautions. However, the condition, which the family has described as “leg poisoning,” caught them off guard. Expressing her frustration and determination to uncover the truth, the TikTok user stated:
“Someone had the heart to do this to my mother just because her daughter held a traditional wedding. If anything happens to her, I will go to any length to find the person responsible.”
The family has also dismissed rumors linking the mother’s condition to a kidney problem, with the TikTok user asserting, “You don’t know what you are saying.”
