The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially endorsed Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO) as the running mate to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for the 2024 presidential election.
President Akufo-Addo has expressed his excitement about the ticket, describing the duo as an “excellent pairing” that will lead the party to victory.
Meanwhile, posters of Nana Owusu Afriyie Prempeh, the Manhyia South Constituency Treasurer and biological brother of Dr. Opoku Prempeh, have emerged, indicating his interest in contesting the Manhyia South parliamentary seat.
The NPP General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, has praised Dr. Opoku Prempeh’s track record and qualities, noting that he is recognized for his incorruptibility and bold stances on national issues.
