In a lead-up to Ghana’s 2024 elections, tensions have escalated as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) accused the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of plagiarizing more than 50 policies from their 2020 manifesto.
Malik Basintale, the NDC’s Deputy National Communications Officer, has been vocal about these allegations, dismissing the NPP’s manifesto as lacking substance and originality.
On the other hand, the NPP, led by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has been actively engaging with communities, defending their policies under the theme ‘Possibility.’
The NDC, preparing to launch its own manifesto, plans to spotlight key initiatives such as the 24-hour economy while addressing corruption and policy implementation.
