Ghanaian prophet and self-proclaimed seer, Prophet Agyemang, has made a controversial prophecy concerning the upcoming election, suggesting that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) will ignite market fires in Kumasi two days before the election.
Known for his contentious predictions, Prophet Agyemang’s latest claim has raised concerns as the nation heads toward a crucial vote.
In an interview with GH Pack TV, monitored by Occupygh.com, Prophet Agyemang asserted that God has chosen Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to lead Ghana for the next four years. According to him, former president John Dramani Mahama has been divinely “rejected” for a third time and will never reclaim the presidency.
The prophet further alleged that the NDC, aware of this supposed divine endorsement of the NPP, would resort to desperate measures in the Ashanti Region, an NPP stronghold. Prophet Agyemang specifically predicted that the NDC would orchestrate multiple fire outbreaks in major Kumasi markets to discourage traders from voting.
The prophecy has stirred significant public conversation, with many questioning the potential impact of such rhetoric on Ghana’s political climate. Security officials and political leaders have yet to respond to these claims, but the remarks have amplified ongoing concerns about political tensions in the lead-up to election day.
