Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, widely known as NAPO, has officially addressed the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) defeat in the 2024 general elections.
In a statement, he acknowledged the party’s loss to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and expressed respect for the verdict of the Ghanaian people, emphasizing the need to accept the outcome with humility.
NAPO extended gratitude to the NPP leadership, particularly Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for selecting him as a running mate and thanked the party faithful, his team, and supporters for their dedication.
He called for introspection within the party, urging members to reflect on the causes of the electoral defeat and to focus on rebuilding trust with Ghanaians.
