Several NPP members visited their colleague, Abdul-Rahman Hudu, the Ejura Sekyeredumase Constituency Youth Organizer, following his involvement in a violent altercation with an NDC communicator, Osman, during a live broadcast on Naagyei FM.
According to the visiting members, Hudu is recovering but is currently unable to speak due to injuries sustained to his mouth from the exchange.
The NPP members called on the police to expedite investigations and bring the assailant to justice, insisting it would serve as a deterrent to future acts of political violence.
The altercation, which took place during a heated radio discussion, resulted in Hudu being admitted to Ejura Government Hospital.
Hudu, a teacher by profession, has officially reported the incident to the Ghana Police, accusing Osman of assault.
The incident has sparked public discussion, with many calling for calm in political discourse and respect for differing opinions in public forums.
