A heated political discussion at Ejura-based Naagyei FM took a violent turn when Osman, an NDC communicator, and Abdul-Rahman Hudu, the NPP youth organizer for the Ejura Sekyeredumase constituency, engaged in a physical brawl during a live broadcast.
The altercation reportedly escalated from a verbal dispute into a full-blown fistfight, disrupting the program and shocking listeners.
Hudu, who is also a teacher, later revealed that he was admitted to the Ejura Government Hospital following injuries sustained in the fight. He has since lodged a formal complaint with the Ghana Police, accusing Osman of assault.
The incident has sparked widespread condemnation, with many calling for political leaders to promote decorum during public discourse.
Naagyei FM has yet to issue an official statement on the matter, but the brawl has raised concerns about the increasing hostility in Ghana’s political environment.
The altercation has quickly gone viral on social media, with both NDC and NPP supporters exchanging views on the incident.
