A shocking allegation has been made by Dr Hannah Bisiw of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), suggesting that Paul Adom Otchere, a prominent journalist and Board Chairman of Ghana Airport Company Limited (GACL), has left Ghana for the United Kingdom.
According to Hannah Bisiw, who made the claim during an appearance on Radio Gold, she has been unable to contact Adom Otchere since the NDC’s victory, which is unusual given their previous interactions when the New Patriotic Party (NPP) was in power.
In a dramatic turn of events, Hannah Bisiw called Adom Otchere’s phone live on radio, only to have it answered by an airport attendant at Heathrow Airport, who revealed that the phone had been left behind.
This development comes on the heels of a scandal involving Adom Otchere in December 2022, where he was accused of being involved in a Ghc78,366 Christmas tree scandal during his tenure as Board Chairman of GACL.
Adom Otchere, a seasoned journalist with over two decades of experience, has worked with various media outlets, including the BBC, and has been recognized for his contributions to journalism, including being adjudged ‘Best News Reporter’ in 2001 by the Ghana Journalists Association.
