Ghanaian media personality, Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah, has recently launched a sharp critique against Rev. Kofi Oduro, the founder and general overseer of Alabaster International Ministries.
Okatakyie Afrifa’s comments came during an interview on Angel FM, where he accused Rev. Oduro of harboring a hidden political agenda in his frequent criticisms of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.
He alleged that Rev. Oduro’s negative stance toward the NPP is influenced by his close family connection to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to Okatakyie Afrifa, Kofi Oduro’s brother is Julius Debrah, who served as the Chief of Staff under the NDC administration of former President John Dramani Mahama. This, Okatakyie argued, creates a bias in Kofi Oduro’s political commentary.

The media personality went on to claim that Kofi Oduro’s relationship with his brother might be driving his public criticisms of the current government.
He also suggested that these attacks on the NPP are part of a calculated effort to support the NDC’s return to power. He emphasized that this connection should make Ghanaians question the preacher’s motives and political stance.
Okatakyie Afrifa also challenged the perception that Kofi Oduro is a politically neutral figure. He insisted that the preacher’s comments are not impartial, as many Ghanaians might believe.
