The Chief of Nandom, Naa Prof. Edmund Delle Chiir VIII, has commended the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government for its unwavering commitment to fulfilling its campaign promises, despite the prevailing global economic challenges.
During a courtesy call by NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, at his palace, the chief extolled the government’s achievements, stating that they are “clear for all to see.” He described those who doubt the government’s accomplishments as “clearly blind.”
The chief expressed admiration for the government’s ability to deliver on its promises, saying, “The world is facing economic setbacks, but we are confident that you’ll continue to show that everything is possible.”
He also expressed gratitude for the various developmental projects initiated by the government in the Nandom Municipality, citing significant progress in education, healthcare, electricity expansion, water, sanitation, and roads.
The chief emphasized that the impact of these projects is undeniable, saying, “We have seen it clear, and only the blind cannot see.”
This endorsement comes as a boost to the NPP government, which has faced criticism for its handling of the economy. The chief’s praise suggests that the government’s efforts have not gone unnoticed, particularly in the Nandom paramountcy.
