
<p><strong>Parents Storm Accra Girls SHS To Withdraw Their Wards Follow COVID-19 Scare In The School</strong></p>



<p>There is a heavy security presence at the <a href="https://occupygh.com/tag/accra-girls-senior-high-school">Accra Girls Senior High School</a> after parents began trooping there to withdraw their wards over <a href="https://occupygh.com/tag/coronavirus">COVID-19 scare</a>.</p>



<p>This follows reports that the <a href="https://occupygh.com/6-students-in-accra-girls-test-positive-for-covid-19">school has recorded some cases of coronavirus</a> nearly a week after the school reopened for final year students.</p>

<p>Some parents successfully withdrew their wards from the institution over the weekend.</p>

<p>Speaking on Beyond the Lockdown, JoyNews reporter Maxwell Agbaba stated that one parent said their ward was asthmatic and could not risk having her catching the virus.</p>



<p>Many more parents have returned to Accra Girls SHS, to take their kids from the school amid fears their wards may be in danger of getting infected.</p>



<p class="has-text-color has-very-dark-gray-color">According to the reporter the parents are unwilling to leave without their wards behind as they cannot guarantee what will happen to them<a href="https://occupygh.com/parents-storm-accra-girls-shs-to-withdraw-their-wards-follow-covid-19-scare-in-the-school">.</a> The presence of heavy security has halted classroom activities as students are also requesting to be taken home.</p>
