
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">The Aboakyer festival is known as a Bushbuck hunting festival which is celebrated by the people of Winneba in the Central Region of Ghana.</h3>



<p>The name Aboakyer means &#8220;hunting for game or animal&#8221; in the Fante language as spoken by the people of the Central Region.</p>



<p>However, during this year’s Aboakyir celebration, a Fetish Priestess who was interviewed briefly revealed that her phone has been stolen at the festival.</p>

<p>She used the platform to warn whoever stole the phone to bring it else she will deal with the person mercilessly.</p>



<p>Not only did the person steal her phone, but her purse contained some amount of cash.</p>



<p>She warned the person to return them or else experience death. She is a Fetish Priestess and is believed to have spiritual powers.</p>
