Accra-based attieke vendor, Chez Amis, has demonstrated solidarity with the #StopGalamseyNow and #FreeTheCitizens protesters by providing over 100 packs of food to sustain them during the second day of the demonstration.
The protest, aimed at bringing attention to the devastating effects of galamsey and advocating for citizens’ rights, has garnered widespread support from Ghanaians. Chez Amis’s generous donation exemplifies the community’s commitment to the cause.
“We believe in the importance of this movement and want to ensure our fellow demonstrators have the energy to continue fighting for our country’s future,” said Chez Amis’s management.
The food packs, consisting of attieke and other local delicacies, were warmly received by protesters.ster.
