The December 7 general election may be over, but Cheddar, aka “The man behind the mask,” is still making headlines.
This time, however, it’s not for his political ambitions, but for a payment controversy involving polling agents who worked on his behalf.
According to a leaked chat obtained by Gh Page, some polling agents on the tickets of the New Force have come out to express their displeasure about Cheddar’s refusal to pay them.
The agents claim that they were promised 200 Cedis as a token for serving as polling agents to support Cheddar’s campaign.
However, days after the election, the agents say they are yet to receive the promised payment. To add insult to injury, members of Cheddar’s team are now saying that the agents will only receive 100 Cedis, half of the original amount promised.
The controversy has left many wondering about Cheddar’s commitment to his campaign promises and his treatment of those who worked to support his bid for office.
