
<p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>A video circulating on social media captures the alarming moment when Nigeria’s president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stumbled at Eagles Square.</strong></p>



<p>President Tinubu arrived at Eagles Square in the Federal Capital Territory around 10 a.m. on Wednesday for the Democracy Day celebration parade. As he was about to board the Presidential Parade Vehicle after stepping out of his motorcade, he lost his balance, slipped, and fell while climbing the stairs to the platform.</p>



<p>Members of the Guards Brigade promptly rushed to assist him. His wife, Oluremi Tinubu, accompanied him to the event.</p>

<p>Following the president&#8217;s arrival, the national anthem was recited to mark the start of the program.</p>



<p>Attendees at the Democracy Day ceremony included Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa, Vice President Kashim Shettima, and Senate President Godswill Akpabio.</p>
