Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi has made stunning claims about his role in John Dramani Mahama’s triumph in the 2024 presidential elections.
In a video released to his congregation, Prophet Badu Kobi attributed Mahama’s victory to “divine strategy and spiritual warfare”.
According to Prophet Badu Kobi, he was part of a network of pastors who coordinated efforts across various regions of Ghana to counter “malevolent forces” in the spiritual realm that were working in favor of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and its candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Prophet Badu Kobi revealed that he was assigned to the Ashanti Region, the NPP’s stronghold, with a clear mission: to neutralize any spiritual attacks and strategies aimed at tilting the election in their favor. He described the battle as not just about votes, but about divine intervention.
The Ashanti Region has long been a bastion of support for the NPP, delivering high voter turnout and decisive victories.
However, Prophet Badu Kobi claimed that his efforts disrupted this dynamic, citing a divine revelation that instructed him to promote voter apathy among NPP supporters to prevent the election from going into a second round.
Prophet Badu Kobi also outlined an alternative scenario for Mahama’s victory, suggesting that even if the election had gone into a second round, Mahama would still have won with over 60% of the votes.
