
<p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>Akuapem Poloo, a Ghanaian actress and businesswoman, has come under fire for showing out to the private listening session for Sefa&#8217;s new song &#8220;Vibration&#8221; in a tight, short attire.</strong></p>



<p>Akuapem Poloo gave up her Christian beliefs a few years ago and took on a new Muslim name.</p>



<p>Last week, the socialite and brand influencer shocked her admirers and followers by announcing her plan to convert to Islam.</p>



<p>Akuapem Poloo was captured on camera at her conversion ceremony wearing full Muslim garb and holding an ablution pail and a prayer mat.</p>



<p>Thank you to the Deputy National Chief Imam&#8217;s Quran Reciter and his board for helping with this, I am now fully Muslim, Alhamdulillah,&#8221; she wrote in the caption of the pictures.</p>



<p>Poloo&#8217;s conversion was questioned, with some online commenters speculating that she was merely fooling with her admirers to attract attention, as she has done in the past.<br>She has revealed a new name in addition to her official identity in an effort to disprove doubters.<br>In an Instagram video, Poloo could be seen revealing that her new name is Haniya, which in Arabic means &#8220;happiness, joy, and laughter.&#8221;</p>



<p>She opted to remove the Jalabia and the head covering, therefore it appears that her conversion has failed.</p>
