Onua TV journalist Captain Smart has raised concerns over Ghana’s national security, warning of potential threats from rebels in Burkina Faso.
According to him, such attacks could occur if President John Mahama displays governance patterns similar to those of his predecessor, Nana Akufo-Addo.
Captain Smart claimed that Ghanaian soldiers are inadequately equipped to counter soldiers from Burkina Faso, Mali, and Guinea, whom he described as more skilled and ruthless.
He alleged that a single Malian soldier could eliminate 3,000 Ghanaian troops, pointing to outdated training methods within Ghana’s military.
The journalist emphasized the urgent need for modernization in the Ghana Armed Forces to strengthen the country’s defense capabilities.
His statements have sparked heated debates on social media, with many questioning the validity of his claims.
