Hiplife grandpapa – Reggie Rockstone has debunked rumors claiming that he is no longer a member of the the VVIP group, OccupyGh.com reports.
The music group, which consist of Zeal – formerly called Lazy, Prodigal and Grandpapa Reggie Rockstone have been silent for the greater part of this year, fueling rumors of their breakup.
More recently as well, one of the member, Reggie Rockstone embarked on a solo project, ’11:11′, which featured Sarkodie. This solo move somehow cemented the rumor of the group’s breakup.
Just yesterday, news got out which suggested that Reggie Rockstone has quit the VVIP group. Our news portal covered the story, as we published a piece of it on our official Instagram page.
Interesting enough, the post caught the attention of Grandpapa Reggie Rockstone who supposedly felt it right to speak on the matter.
Debunking the rumors, Reggie Rockstone commented on OccupyGhDotCom’s Instagram post. He wrote; “U know that’s fake news tho right ???”
Grandpapa has also been quoted on Showbiz Today, frowning on why anyone will spread such a false rumor.
“I am wondering where all that is coming from, what pisses me off is the fact that no one has spoken to any of us and yet they put it out there that I have left the group.
“Why me? Is it because I am the newest member of the group? I am still with VVIP and we are very much together. I admit that we have been quiet for the past year but we are still together as a group, no one has left and I haven’t left either,”.
“I was sick during the Sallahfest that is why you did not see me but that is all there is to it, VVIP is intact and coming back bigger and better,” he stated.
