Rev. Obofour has responded to Okatakyie Afrifa’s allegations that he is a secret member of the opposition NDC party.
Okatakyie Afrifa claimed that Obofour and other pastors who met with John Mahama are NDC members.
Obofour denied the allegations, stating he attended the meeting as a citizen who pays taxes and electricity tariffs.
He also debunked claims that the pastors met to work against Dr. Bawumia’s presidency because of his Muslim faith.
Okatakyie Afrifa’s allegations came after a gathering of pastors, including Apostle Dr. Isaac Owusu-Bempah, who predicted John Mahama’s 2024 election win despite previously supporting Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s presidency.
Obofour’s response aims to distance himself from the NDC and maintain his independence as a spiritual leader.
