Rihanna has been unveiled as the new face of Dior’s iconic J’Adore fragrance, replacing Charlize Theron, who represented the brand for two decades.
Directed by Steven Klein, the campaign premiered on September 1, 2024, featuring Rihanna in a stunning film shot at the historic Palace of Versailles. Dressed in a golden corset gown designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, Rihanna embodies a “golden goddess” in the Hall of Mirrors, symbolizing a metamorphosis of femininity.
The campaign, which includes Rihanna’s song “Love on the Brain,” adds a personal touch, blending music and fashion.
This marks Rihanna’s return to Dior, building on her history with the brand from the 2015 Secret Garden campaign.
Her debut as the first Black woman to represent J’Adore has been celebrated as a step towards inclusivity and diversity.
The new J’Adore L’Or fragrance, which she represents, enhances the classic scent with intensified floral notes, perfectly aligning with Rihanna’s bold, modern aura.
