The price of Sachet water has been 20 pesewas for over a decade now since the introduction of the cedi currency.
However, the sachet water which is known to be 20 pesewas is now being sold for 30 pesewas respectively, and most sellers are selling it for 30 pesewas.
This is actually the first time in 10-years the price of pure water has been increased and I think it’s a fair decision to the sellers.
When you’re going to town, be prepared to pay 30 pesewas for a sachet of water and 5 cedis for a bag of Sachet water.
