
<p>James Edem Lutterodt&#8217;s funeral will take place on September 9, 2023, a few years after he was hailed as a national hero. He participated in the National Science and Math Quiz as a member of the 2021 Keta Senior High Technical School (KETASCO) team.</p>



<p>Until his unfortunate passing on July 3, 2023, the promising student was enrolled in the University of Ghana&#8217;s BSc Information Technology program. An full goodbye itinerary for the bright student was announced on Tuesday by his family, the Lutterodt, Dovlo, and associated families, as well as the administration, faculty, and students of KETASCO.</p>

<p>The family has announced that the funeral and burial procedures would start on Friday, September 8:</p>



<p>Date and time of the wake: September 8, 2023<br>Location: Tema&#8217;s Community One Center<br>Time: 9:00.<br>Final Committal Service and Interment:<br>September 9, 2023, is the time and date.<br>Time: 09:30<br>Location: Senior High School and Keta Burial Park Location: Government Cemetery in Keta, Vui.</p>



<p>On Saturday, September 9, 2023, at KETASCO Park in Keta, &#8220;loved ones in the Volta Region are also invited to join in the Final Funeral Rite and Burial Service.&#8221;</p>



<p>As it may comfort the mourning family at this time of remembrance, the family &#8220;hereby extends an invitation to all friends and sympathisers to honour and celebrate the life of their beloved, James Kwabla Edem Lutterodt.&#8221;</p>



<p>James, a KETASCO participant who helped the team advance to its first national finals in the 2021 NSMQ, died on July 3, 2023, allegedly as a result of eating food that had been poisoned.</p>



<p>Being the first time a school from the Volta Region progressed to that round of the competition, it was a historic achievement.</p>
