Popular Ghanaian actress, Nana Ama McBrown, has addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding Bishop Salifu Amoako and his son, Elrad Amoako, on her show, Onua Showtime on Onua TV.
McBrown revealed her long-standing relationship with Bishop Amoako, describing him as an elder and mentor from her childhood in Kwadaso. She clarified that she referred to him as her “uncle” due to their close family ties, which predated his becoming a pastor.
The actress shared that she had attended Bishop Amoako’s church and received significant support from him during that time.
Regarding the recent fatal accident involving Elrad Amoako, McBrown appealed for empathy, stating that the incident is extremely painful for Bishop Amoako.

While emphasizing the importance of allowing the law to take its course, McBrown cautioned against completely demonizing Bishop Amoako, acknowledging his own hurt and suffering.
