Sarkodie Finally Deletes Viral Photo Receiving ‘Fake Kofi Annan UN Award’

Ghana’s most decorated artiste Sarkodie among other Ghanaian celebrities fell for a scam when they were contacted by one Dr. Kwame Fordjour aka ‘Fake UN Guy’ to receive awards for their humanity acts.

Dr. Kwame Fordjour presented himself as a rep from the United Nation. He presented awards to A-listed Ghanaian celebrities.

Many of whom have deleted their photos receiving the award after Dr. Kwame Fordjour was exposed as a scam. Sarkodie however was adamant of taking down a post he made after receiving the award. It was a photo of himself receiving the fake Kofi Annan UN Award.

Well, a cross-check with Sarkodie’s social media accounts reveals that the Ghanaian rapper has finally deleted all his posts related to the ‘fake award’.

Sarkodie then noted on Twitter that he now understands that the scheme was fake and deems it necessary to take the actions.
