David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, Falz, and Zlatan Ibile, three Nigerian singers, have joined the candlelight march in Lagos’ Victoria Island neighbourhood in memory of the late Afrobeats musician Mohbad.

Ilerioluwa Aloba, 27, passed away in Lagos for an unexplained reason.

Nigerians have been demanding a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances of his death ever since he passed away. They asked the authorities to look into the situation more thoroughly.

Even though there have been demonstrations in some areas of the nation, the parade on Thursday is an attempt to further demand justice for the late artist.

Around 7:18 o’clock, the parade began as hundreds of young people arrived to honour the gifted musician.

In the UK’s Peckham neighbourhood, Peckham Square is hosting a related event. In videos that went popular on social media, participants could be heard singing the late rapper’s songs.

The procession occurs immediately after the rapper’s body was exhumed and an autopsy on the remains was finished by Lagos State police.

In a widely shared video, Davido was seen guarding his beverage inside a disposable cup. He also declined the opened bottle that one of his helpers offered him.
