<p>In the final seconds of extra time, Suarez used his hand to stop Dominic Adiyiah&#8217;s goal-bound header, giving Ghana a penalty and further aggravating the situation.</p>



<p>Ghana was awarded a penalty after Suarez was sent off for acting in an unsportsmanlike manner, but Asamoah Gyan was unable to convert.</p>



<p>However, Uruguay&#8217;s Luis Suarez has acknowledged that he joyfully yelled &#8220;Goal!&#8221; when Asamoah Gyan missed his crucial penalty during the 2010 World Cup quarterfinal game.</p>



<p>The seasoned striker claimed he was very happy after Gyan missed, and he became ecstatic right away because it looked like Uruguay had scored.</p>
