Bridget Otoo, a Ghanaian media personality and TV host for Metro TV, has revealed Serwaa Amihere, her former best friend, as a double-dealer.
Serwaa Amihere was allegedly accused of refusing to use Tweets concerning the OccupyJulorbiHouse protest by Bridget Otoo in a recent Tweet because she was romantically involved with the NCA boss.
During the most recent protest, Bridget Otoo was one of the protesters the Ghanaian police harassed.
In a detailed description, Bridget Otoo described how she was treated violently by several police officers at a recent protest by activists.
Today, September 21st 2023, activists organised the #OccupyJulorbiHouse (Julorbi, a corruption of Jubilee House, to wit: “son of a thief”) protest.
Police, however, dispersed the demonstration and apprehended individuals there; the majority of them were taken to a number of police stations scattered throughout the nation’s capital.
TV host Bridget Otoo was one of the people who was arrested and mistreated. She added that several of the protesters’ phones had also been taken by the police.
Bridget described how she attempted to stop a young man from being taken away by some police officers for committing no crime, causing her dress to rip. Ingrid Otoo expressed her dissatisfaction with the security officials’ handling of the situation.
