
<p>Shatta Wale&#8217;s entire career was effectively ruined by the scathing criticism Vida Adutwumwaa, a Ghanaian entertainment analyst, gave on his appearance on GMA UK.</p>



<p>She said that if the show&#8217;s organiser really did pay £80k as Shatta Wale claimed, then he had been duped and should request a refund.</p>



<p>Adutwumwaa was responding to Shatta Wale&#8217;s assertion that he received £80,000 in payment for his performance at the 2023 Ghana Music Awards UK and the subsequent uproar that followed after Akwasi Aboagye refuted it on Peace Fm.</p>



<p>She refused to discuss the logistics of whether Wale had been paid that sum, but given on the performance she had seen, she believed that the organisers should receive a reimbursement.</p>



<p>She criticised Wale&#8217;s senseless performance, calling it embarrassing to watch from a distance.</p>



<p>Wale, she said, chooses to disrespect everyone rather than learn from master musicians who are promoting the continent internationally, such as Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Burna Boy, Davido, and others.</p>



<p>In addition, Vida Adutwumwaa criticised the organisers for accusing Akwasi Aboagye of lacking common sense in his reaction to him.</p>
