A shocking scandal has rocked SOMPA FM, a popular radio station in Ghana, resulting in the termination of Odifour Paul Kwabena, the right-hand man of renowned traditional priest, Ohenene Adazoa.
According to a Facebook post by THE BBC GHANA, Odifour Paul Kwabena was sacked after allegedly attempting to take advantage of a married woman who had sought counsel on the station’s show, SOMPA Nkomo.
The woman, who remains anonymous, had appeared on the show to discuss her troubled marriage. However, after the show, Odifour Paul Kwabena allegedly took her phone number and began sending her inappropriate text messages.
The woman, who was seeking help and guidance, was reportedly shocked and disturbed by Odifour’s advances.
The incident, which has sparked widespread outrage, led to Odifour Paul Kwabena’s immediate termination from SOMPA FM.
The radio station has not officially commented on the matter, but sources close to the station have confirmed that Odifour’s actions were deemed unacceptable and inconsistent with the station’s values.
Ohenene Adazoa, Odifour Paul Kwabena’s boss and a respected traditional priest, has also not commented on the matter. However, it is expected that he will address the issue in the coming days.
