Spike Lee, the legendary American filmmaker has arrived in Ghana for a visit as videos of him at the Accra International Airport surface.
Shelton Jackson “Spike” Lee is known for exploring race relations, issues within the black community, the role of media in contemporary life, urban crime and poverty, and other political issues in his movies.
According to details avialable to us, Spike arrived in Ghana on Sunday, March 26th 2023, a day ahead of U.S. Vice President, Kamala Harris’s own visit to Ghana.
In the video Spike Lee is seen receiving a warm Ghanaian welcome from the Beyond the Return secretariat, with dancers and top secretariat members including Director Annabelle Renee at the airport.
The CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) Kwesi Agyeman, was also at the Kotoka International Airport.
