A 13-Year-Old Student of Swedru Methodist ‘B’ Basic School has reportedly passed away after being fatally lashed by his teacher, Madame Milicent, for failing her homework.
The student, Godfred Ankomah was reportedly lashed by his teacher for failing to mark a score in his homework.
According to the details, Godfred was caned by his teacher on his back even after he pleaded with her to be lashed in the palm.
He returned home and revealed to his mother what happened to him after the teacher caned him.
The mother returned to the school to ask that his ward be taken care of since the caning had affected Godfred’s spinal cord.
This fell on deaf ears, unfortunately on her return, the mother stumbled on her son in a bad condition – she took her home and upon several visits to the hospital, Godfred died.
