Renowned actor LilWin’s lawyer, Margaret Mary Adjei Twum, has reiterated her client’s innocence in the tragic accident that claimed the life of a three-year-old boy.
Speaking to reporters after a court appearance, Twum expressed hope that LilWin would not be prosecuted as the court awaits advice from the Attorney General’s office.
Twum emphasized that LilWin was not at fault in the incident and highlighted the negative impact of the accident and subsequent media coverage on the actor’s career, particularly the movie “A Country Called Ghana”.

She acknowledged the devastating loss of life and expressed sympathy for the deceased’s family, prioritizing their comfort and closure over financial concerns.
Twum affirmed her commitment to defending LilWin’s innocence until proven otherwise, stating that their defense strategy may evolve upon receiving reports from the Attorney General.
The court proceedings revealed that the docket is still under review, with the next steps pending advice from the Attorney General’s office.
