
<p><strong>Timileyin Ajayi, a gospel singer, has pleaded not guilty in the High Court of Justice, Lafia, to the murder of Salome Adaidu, his alleged girlfriend and a National Youth Service Corps member.</strong></p>



<p>This plea comes despite a widely circulated video in which Ajayi seemingly confessed to the crime. He faces a charge of culpable homicide punishable by death under Section 221 of the Penal Code of Northern Nigeria.</p>



<p>Ajayi&#8217;s legal team has indicated their intent to challenge the evidence presented by the prosecution, including the alleged confession.</p>
